Review of the smartphone Sony Xperia Z2.

Sony Mobile has once again updated its flagship smartphone from the top-end Xperia Z series. The new flagship was presented at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy S5

Sony’s new flagship smartphone bears the name Xperia Z2 and is generally an updated version of the Xperia Z1 smartphone, presented in the fall in Berlin. The Japanese firmly adhere to the once chosen course: to renew the flagship line every six months

The Sony Xperia Z2 kit sent to us for testing looks exactly the same as the previous products of the series: the smartphone is packaged in a rather simple outwardly, which has already become a classic for the latest products of the Sony mobile line, a flat and square box made of thin unvarnished cardboard with several compartments inside.

The complete set is standard: a compact charger (output current 1.5 A), a connecting cable, ordinary headphones without additional ear pads and a thick bundle of paper documentation. This is the most modest kit of all possible: for example, for the Asian market, the Sony Xperia Z2 comes in a much larger box made of hard lacquered cardboard, which contains a richer set of accessories, including the presence of a docking station. In the case of the Russian market, nothing of the kind was found in the kit, which is a pity: such a docking station would not hurt domestic users at all.

Appearance and usability.

Externally, the Sony Xperia Z2 has not changed much, but the changes that are there have not brought any improvements. The smartphone is still a candy bar, consisting of two glass plates and a metal frame between them, which forms the frame of the device and forms the outer side frames of the case. The frame, as before, is made of anodized aluminum. However, before, a thin plastic spacer was inserted between the frame and the glass, so the previous smartphones of the series felt more comfortable in the hand, not to mention the first Xperia Z, the frames of which were made of rubberized polycarbonate. In Sony Xperia Z2, things are worse with this: the bevels on the frame were removed somehow more roughly, the edges turned out to be sharper, and this made it not so comfortable to hold the smartphone in the palm of your hand. Now the edges of the metal frame feel noticeably rougher and sharper when touched, literally everyone notes this.

The smartphone feels like a very large and heavy monolithic bar, it does not have that

On the front glass panel, as well as on the back, now there are no those factory protective films about which there was so much controversy. On the one hand, the films, naturally, wore out faster and were covered with a mass of scratches than https://cdn-131.anonfiles.com/L877G0p6ve/68f50b5b-1639040419/Exercise%20Bikes-manual.pdf glass. On the other hand, proponents of films have argued that they could be removed at any time, giving the smartphone a fresh look. True, it is Photogenix Studio Manual | PDF | Exposure (Photography) | Flash (Photography) difficult to say whether a lot of people actually did this, or whether this was purely theoretical reasoning: after all, the glass under the film did not have an oleophobic coating, and besides, along with the film, the corporate logo disappeared from the front panel, not to mention the fact that this film, in principle, was extremely difficult to remove without damaging the glass itself and the edges of the frame around it. So, perhaps, Sony did the right thing by depriving its products of this atavism.
